To answer your question about the Pekovic contract, even if he meets his incentives he would not qualify as a "designated player" because 1. he isn't coming off of a rookie contract and 2. he wasn't drafted in the first round. Therefore, the five year deal for Rubio is still up in the air. Doesn't change the fact that Love should've gotten a fifth year though.
