The SuiteStars: Our 2017 MIAA All-State Football Team

SuiteSports is proud to unveil its second ever MIAA All-State football team, compiled with the input of our many contributors who hustled across the state all season long, and numerous coaches across the Commonwealth.

Please keep in mind that we do have an "athlete" category, so be sure to check there before you freak out that your favorite player didn't make the team.

One rule we're going to lay out here: We encourage debate and discussion, and we'd love to hear who you think we "snubbed." However, we ask that you avoid personal attacks on players. It's not a good look, and all personal attack comments will be deleted.

Finally, be on the lookout for our Award Winners, including our Player of the Year, which will be posted tomorrow. Until then, scroll down and check out this season's SuiteStars!

Central Mass Lacrosse All-Stars 2017

Another season of Central Mass Lacrosse has come to a close, and that means it's time for our annual All-Stars and, later today, Award Winners. For those who missed it, we've already released our final team Power Rankings of the season as well.

Just a note about the comments section: Last year got pretty ugly, so now you have to sign in to comment. Even so, know that any comments directly degrading or attacking a particular player will be deleted.

But feel free to tell me which players I snubbed and how much of an idiot I am. I probably deserve it.

Also note that players are listed in alphabetical number under each team (1st team, 2nd team, 3rd team, HM), so I'm no longer ranking them inside each tier. I don't wanna split those hairs (until our awards). Also, All-Americans are marked with an (AA) following their listing.

Wednesday night signaled the conclusion of the Division 1A “Super Eight” tournament as St. John’s Shrewsbury captured the title with a thrilling 5-4 victory over St. John’s Prep.

Throughout the tournament, a number of players from all eight teams made their presence known by leading their respective team on a memorable run, or standing out via a single game performance.

So, without further ado, SuiteSports is excited to unveil its All Super Eight team, in which we recognize those players who stood out over the course of the tournament.

Make sure to check back in early next week when we will unveil our 2017 MIAA Baseball All-State team, as well as our Player of the Year.

Another MIAA boys' basketball season has come to a close, and SuiteSports is proud to unveil its first ever All-State Boys' Basketball Team and Award Winners. The team and awards below were selected by a number of editors and reporters from across the state. But, if you feel the need to yell at anybody, you can find editor Joe Parello on Twitter here.

While we certainly encourage debate about our picks, we will not tolerate attacks on individual kids in the comments section. Please, keep it classy folks.

I won't waste your time with any introductions, since I've already written a year in review, and presented my final Power Rankings of 2016.

So, without further ado, here are our All-Stars and Award Winners for the 2016 Central Mass lacrosse season. Note that under each position tier (first team, second team, third team, honorable mention) players are listed alphabetically by school, and that you can click any image to enlarge.

The regular season is almost over, so it's time to start thinking about which guys in Central Mass will make our All-Star team, and win our annual awards.

Both the regular season and the postseason will be taken into account in my final All-Star team, so much is still to be determined. But, these are the guys that I'm looking at right now.
