This is about the two most important people in Boston sports. 

Ok, so we let those 2024 Olympics slip through our fingers. Let's hope we don’t have to deal with that again in our lifetime. I mean, it's ok for us to go wherever they decide to hold it, but being one of the most unfriendly places in the world, why show it off?  

I mean, it's who we are. Big deal… It's always better to be known for something, I guess.

I will stick to my theory, expressed almost a decade ago, that when the Red Sox lose Larry Lucchino, they will spin out of control as an organization. You say that has already happened. I say it can get much worse, and probably will.
